About Connect Four

Connect Four is a two-player connection game where you take turns dropping coloured discs into a seven-column, six-row grid. Discs fall straight to the lowest available slot, and the first player to line up four of their own discs — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — wins. It looks simple, but strong play is all about building multiple threats at once and blocking your opponent before they connect four. The computer here uses a look-ahead search, so it plans several moves deep.

How to play

• Tap a column to drop your disc into it.
• You are red and always move first; the CPU is yellow.
• Connect four in any direction to win the round.
• Switch to 2 Players to play against a friend on one device.
