About Minesweeper

Minesweeper is a classic single-player puzzle that shipped with early versions of Windows and has entertained players for decades. Hidden mines are scattered across a grid, and your job is to uncover every safe square. Each revealed number tells you how many mines touch that square — read those clues carefully to deduce where the mines are and flag them. Your very first click is always safe, so you always have somewhere to start.

How to play

• Tap a square to reveal it. Empty areas open up automatically.
• A number shows how many of the 8 neighbouring squares hide a mine.
• Long-press (mobile) or right-click (desktop) to place or remove a flag.
• Reveal every safe square to win — hit a mine and it's game over.
