Mafia — also known as Werewolf — is a classic social deduction party game. A secret Mafia tries to eliminate the town one night at a time, while the townsfolk (including a Doctor who can save people and Police who can investigate) try to figure out who the Mafia are and vote them out. The trickiest part is often just dealing out the hidden roles fairly — that's what this tool does. Enter everyone's names, choose how many of each special role you want, and it deals a random, secret role to each player right on one phone.

How to use it

1. Add every player's name.
2. Set how many Mafia, Doctor, and Police you want — everyone else becomes a Villager.
3. Tap Assign Roles to deal them out at random.
4. Pass the device around; each person taps their card to privately see their role, then hides it.
5. Use Moderator view if the narrator wants the full list, or Re-shuffle for a new round.

Suggested balance

A common rule of thumb is about one Mafia for every 3–4 players, with a single Doctor and a single Police. Keep the Mafia to fewer than half the group so the town has a fair chance. It's your party, though — tune the numbers however you like.
